         <description><![CDATA[<div>On 1940 Britain with no cash to spend so Roosevelt tried helping by suggesting a new plan called The Lend-Lease Act policy. &nbsp;<br>The Lend-Lease Act plan made the president lend and lease supplies to different countries whose defense was very vital to the united states.<br><br>The lend-lease Act of 1941 also enabled the united states to provide for more food, and even oil.</div>]]></description>

The peace talk went on for a month.&nbsp;<br><br>Then On December 7, 1941 Germany and Italy Declared war to the united states.&nbsp;<br><br>Everyone was shocked because no one thought a big navy like pearl harbor was going to be attacked.<br><br>less than 2 hours, The Japanese had killed 2,403 Americans and wounded over 1,178 more. A lot of friends and families was lost that day.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
