Law and Freedom Slides

This is what I did for Module 7. I used a slideshow I put together in a hurry during last year's class and made it more interactive via Nearpod. Law, freedom, and concepts connected to them are great conversation starters so I put in several open-ended questions to get the students thinking.

Modified Study Guide from Claude

I used Claude to make a Study Guide for my slides from Module 7. I simply asked Claude to make me a study guide based on the slides I linked. I went through and modified it so that the Study Guide reflected more of the style I was wanting and made sure information was correct. I had struggles editing the original document so I copied and pasted everything to a Word document. Below this document and also published is Claude's original post without modifications.

Theater Script

I used Google Gemini to make a 'play' of sorts for my class to act out. I originally asked Gemini to give me ideas for an interactive classroom for the slides I linked (Module 7). It gave me a couple of quick games but I was not satisfied. I then asked Gemini to give me a game based on the slides I linked (Module 7). It gave an interesting game where students would be put in scenarios and then were given options to combat a chaotic world versus an ordered world (no laws versus laws). I opted to try making that game more like a video so I could have it be more visual for the kids. It gave me a script to make a video, but I thought it would be more fun to make it a play instead and so asked Gemini to do so. I would be willing to give acting out this play a try with the class, especially if the class was not afraid to act. I would probably break them up into groups of 3 or 4, giving each group one scenario. I would give them time with the script and then have them act it out for the rest of the class. I think it makes for a nice change of pace in the classroom.
