The link identifies the latest impact that the web based tool, Spotlight, has had by identifying 31,197 victims of human trafficking since founded. Through this tweet and many others, Kutcher has been able to provide consistent updates on the status of his organization. Throughout the process of this event, Youtube has granted us the ability to share our concerns about sex trafficking and to educate others who do not know about this injustice.

These children are in situations where they are struggling to provide for themselves which is what the traffickers prey on. The two men lured their victim by using fear, power, love and money into a hotel room to take disturbing photos to send to the clients later on. The first stage of grooming targets individuals who are low income and desperate for money. The second stage is where the trafficker finds the person and provides them with protection, love, adventure, money, and home creating a trustworthy relationship showing the victim genuine love. The third stage makes the victim feel that their life is dependent on the trafficker thus leading to a trusting relationship between trafficker and victim. The fourth stage is isolation. By isolating the victim from the family, it will allow the trafficker to bring the victim to far away places and possibly force her to perform sexual activities. If they refuse they will threaten to leave them in the country or hurt their family members. The fifth stage forces the victim to repay the person generosity by putting them out on the market, if they refuse or go to the police, their family members get harmed.  The last stage is maintaining control, by using threats they will be able to gain profit off of the victim for as long as they want.
