One can be wealthy in experiences and in memories, one can have a wealth of knowledge and one can be wealthy in opportunities.

It can be based on where you live. Also wealth can- and is meant to be shared. For instance, teachers share their intelligence, my family and I share our happiness and memories.
Society deems wealth as having a lot of money, but money won’t always make you happy.

I think wealth can be really anything (money, knowledge, memories, etc.) as long as you have relatively more of said thing than most people. Wealth can be different depending where you are geographically too. For example, you could relatively have a lot more money than people in Zimbabwe, but not a lot of money relative to people in Canada. Also, age can be a huge factor too. If I had $200 when I was 5 I would consider myself wealthy compared to other 5 year olds. If I have $200 when I'm 30, in Vancouver, I'd actually be quite poor.

I agree with Minna that your perception of wealth also changes depending on who your friends/peers are.
- can (or should) wealth expand to health or physical ability?

Wealth depends completely on your personal values. For some, wealth is defined as money yet for others it could be something that is not materialistic. Wealth is defined as an abundance of one thing as an example “A wealth of knowledge”.
Why is money one of the main things people think of when the word wealth is mentioned?
Is wealth geographical?
When is one considered wealthy? How will someone know they are wealthy? Wealth can bring comfort.
Others can provide you wealth in different forms.
I disagree with the point that only being wealthy will bring you happiness. You could have a wealth of land but still not be satisfied in other aspects of your life.

I agree in that wealth doesn’t always have to be material objects. Wealth can mean many things to different people. You can have wealth in family, community, nature. I wonder if one is less wealthy in money if that plays a role in how wealthy one is in other aspects of life? I think that most people see wealth as only possible in money, and do almost everything in their power to reach that, and can sometimes neglect other aspects of wealth that are more important. Once gained, wealth can often be taken for granted, so how do we truly appreciate what we have?

Do we value money more or less now the we did 50 years ago?
Love the idea of wealth in memories.
Is wealth quantifiable?
We also agreed that wealth is subjective. However, we didn’t think of it as a monetary exchange rate, but rather as wealth referring to things that are value to YOU.
I agree with Robert’s point. While wealth may mean you are able to spare something, being wealthy (unfortunately) doesn’t equate to giving things away (at least not in today’s society).
