  • As I am writing down the storyboard, I like to develop some of my creative solution as in the past I have not been creative with my own idea and it will be great to develop it. 
  • While I am recording, I want to develop more on the camera shots like record in different angles that I have not done before. While I am editing my project, I need to research how to make different effects like lighting and glitch effects. That will give me to make my video like an actual music video and it will develop half my editing skills.  
  • Starting tomorrow (Wed-Thurs 24th-25th) I will be going to my locations of my choosing and I will be taking pictures of one sample of building or the statues. 
  • I will be finishing my final edit possibly this week, I want to have a tutor briefly look at my project and give me feedback so if there anything I can do to work on I can go back to my edit and fix it.

There was a lot of planning of this project as which dates I am going to record and find out more information about the places. When I was starting this project, I always wanted to make one of projects personal to my life back in my previous studies, but I am glad that I have made one to end the trail of my studying until I get a job. I have been searching for any retro look and the VHS effect seems to be prefect for the first scenes of Tooting as I was a kid and my family had old fashion cameras. I even took the opportunity to put the maps into my videos to let the audience look up the places that I have been. Also I have seen couple of old videos of someone getting interviewed and answer the reasons of the locations, the story  and history, that got me interested to having the simple questions for my video and answer them well. 

With the VHS effect I had to do a lot this to get it how it is, because to make it feel like we went back to early 2000. I had to make a adjustments layer to have the effects to go with it, so it can work perfectly. I also had to make three copies of the same video and change the colour to blue, green and red. Unfortunately I could not find my old phones during the progress but I had to get it done somehow. With the scenes with Clapham Common, I used the college's camera because I use the cameras to record the rest of previous projects from this course and it makes sense to use it one last time and get into the camera look. I did improve a lot of the skills that I have learnt during this project even started and I also planned a lot when I was going to every location as I was about to go to a area then another area and started recorded on my way in some parts. 

I have learnt how to do glow text effect to make this project like me and it was an easy task to get use to, I even used the locations maps in my project. My interview was all about my highlights and moments about the locations and my study life. I have made three different copies of the project, the first one is only have the montage and nothing else. The second one has only the maps on the corner of the video.
