Their were two zones that resonated with me the most: the watering hole & the cave. I need to discuss and explore what I just learned around the campfire with peers for a multitude of reasons. It helps solidify my learning if I can discuss it with others. When I do this, I can see what others took from the lesson and compare it to what I took from it. Maybe I missed something or maybe their past experiences changed the way they heard it and then they share that with me and I now have a different perspective on it that I would never have gotten if I never talked with those peers. Furthermore, I need quiet processing time in my "cave" to assimilate that new information and help give it personal meaning to me, which helps me determine how I want to implement it into my life, career, etc.

What resonated with me the most was the Watering Hole. The reason is because I can see the struggles my students are already having in not knowing how to share and communicate ideas. Fortune 500 companies often talk about how they find employees who lack communication skills. Technology can be used to enhance communication as long as everyone is a willing participant, and there is a true understanding of how to share ideas and contemplate others' ideas. Sometimes my students feel as though their ideas are the best ones, and don't know how to consider someone else's suggestions. Unfortunately, I see this as something we are going to have to teach if we are going to have successful conversations that lead to learning.

I really connected with The Cave and the Watering Hole. There are many instances where working collaboratively is helpful to my learning but similarly there are times where I would rather be on my own, tackling the problem or goal in my own head space. I believe that the students are the same way! Many of them cannot stand the idea of working with someone or being next to others constantly, so the idea of flexible seating in general is exciting to explore and introduce to the students.

The zone that resonated with me the most was Life. So often students spend time going through each of the three zones and when they get to the life zone , they do not spend enough time to be able to apply and solidify their applications.
