Social Emotional Learning is vital. People often learn how to cope through modeling of those they are around. They could have negative influences on how to cope or not given the proper tools to cope. Even adults work on learning coping skills to manage stressful situations. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a great one to help with mind set changing to start the coping process. Grounding Therapy is also wonderful. I would go on about it with Staff but I don't want to post too much. Just ask if you want more.

This means learning to understand and regular our emotions as well as learning strategies that help us cope with negative emotions.
