Nationalism. The song talks about the revolution and how the animals will be free. It rallies the animals in an uplifting tune to get the revolution started.

It is a bandwagon because the animal will follow the rules so they can fit in.

Milk and Apples

Napoleon gaslighted by saying the pigs need the apples to learn because they are the smartest so he could keep the apples and milk.

The flag shows pride and a symbol of animalism. The animals praise the flag and praise the idea of animalism as it spreads to other farms.

The tone of the beasts of England and the idea of the revolution was known throughout the county. Animals were starting to rebel and fight back across the county.

“Surely comrades, you do not want Jones back.” Squealer uses fear to convince the public to believe in Napoleon and convince them that his rule is still better than Mr Jones'.

They used name-calling, ¨Who came in the night and overthrew our windmill? SNOWBALL! Snowball has been blamed for the windmill getting blown over by the wind.

The dogs apparently smell snowball everywhere and say he’s been on Mr Jones’ side all along. They say he's plotting an attack. Napoleon uses him as his scapegoat and tries to persuade the other animals that Snowball is the enemy and has always been the enemy.

He made them forget the beast of England and follow the new Napoleon poem, which shows nationalism.

The change in alcohol use

Squealer changed the alcohol commandment to alcohol with excess and gaslighted the animals into thinking it had been there all along.

A march around the farm where they praise Napoleon. Napoleon gives a speech about how great he is and how he is always right. Then fires the gun.

Napoleon rewrote history by changing all 7 commandments to only 1, and it being ¨All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others." This shows the public that everyone is equal, but some are better and more equal, which are the pigs.
