         <description><![CDATA[<p>These meals meet a toddler's nutritional needs because they complete the recommended amount of vegetables, fruits, dairy, protein, and grain. When creating this meal plan, I had a lot of variety during each meal time by adding fruits &amp;/or vegetables to the main course. I tried to include foods that would interest a toddler by adding lots of color and texture. I made sure to meet the nutritional need for dairy by having 1/2 cup of fat free milk at every meal and having another source of calcium for strong bone development. I tried to cut out unnecessary fats, but there are things like ranch dressing that should be limited. These meals include fruits and vegetables as healthy snacks compared to sugary, fatty snacks that would give your toddler empty calories. </p>]]></description>
