The Gecko is a creature that has the ability to climb all sorts of surfaces and different type walls, at all different angles. The Gecko has the ability to adapt to all of these surfaces because of their “adhesive toepads”. The Gecko has a smooth service skin that has tendons in every single one of their toepads. On each of the Geckos’ toepads, they have hairs that are called setae. The setae(s) on the toepads, can act like “soft substrate” that adapt to whatever surface they are walking on, giving the Gecko the ability to climb any form of a service without falling off of the surface. In the design the feature will include mock like toepads that can be found on the bottom of Geckos feet. This will give the ability to anyone with the design to climb different surfaces and walls.

The first way that the Geckos toepads can help humans is by giving humans the ability to climb walls inside tall buildings to change lightbulbs, or for other reasons that may need be. The second way that the Geckos toepads can help humans is by giving humans the ability to climb glass walls, on tall skyscrapers. For examples, for FBI reasons that humans may need to climb or for window washers. The third way that the Geckos toepads can help humans is by giving humans the ability to stick to surfaces when needs of danger. For example, when humans need to stand still do to safety reasons the toepads can help humans stay wherever they are standing.

It will attach to tie that are located on the front and back of the toepad. The ties can be used to tie around the shoe. On the bottom of the attachment will be this design that will have millions of adhesive dots (mocked from the Geckos setae on their toepads). The adhesive dots will allow for humans to climb any surface for whatever reason may be needed. Through the millions of adhesive dots it will hold up to 700 pounds allowing for humans to uphold themselves and other objects that they may need when climbing.

There are three different ways that the prototype can be attached to the soles of shoes other than the original way, ties. The first way that it can be changed is through a sticky pad that will be on both the toepad and the human shoe sole. This can be a change because it is a different approach to attaching the toepad to the sole of a shoe. The second way is through a Velcro method, one being attached to the sole of the shoe and the other on the toepad. This is a change because it is a different approach to securely attaching the toepad and the shoe. The third way is by fascinators. There could be fascinators on the front and back of the shoe that match up with fascinators that will be on the front and back of the toepad. This can be a change because it is yet another way to make sure that the toepad attaches securely to the sole of a shoe. Through all three changes it will add a more secure hook between the toepad and human shoes.
