Ever since I was in high school I knew I wanted to do something that involved helping people in some capacity or making a difference. I’ve always been so passionate about being a kind person and being able to lend a hand whenever needed while also being passionate about my education and the education of children all over the world. I realized our education system was constantly changing and I wanted to be apart of that change.

Who Inspires Me

My mom is my biggest inspiration when it comes to my journey in college and in life. She has always stood by my side and supported me in every choice I have made since being in college. She motivates me to be better and to always go after what I want no matter how hard it is or how long it takes to get there. She was actually the person who pushed me to become an Elementary Education major. Before becoming an Elementary Education major I was a Nursing major and before that I was a Computer Engineering major but my mom helped me to dig deep into who I am and figure out who and what I wanted to be, and that was an elementary teacher.

In the next coming years I see myself teaching kindergarten in Seattle, Washington. I am so excited to start my career and journey as a teacher. I wish to make a lasting impact on each of students each and every day and teach them not only about academics but about life, themselves, and the world.
