I found this specific case interesting because of how complex all his murders and assaults' were. There is so much more to the story but this is enough for now, but it's a truly crazy story.

Versace’s killing set off a nationwide manhunt for Cunanan, who was famous for his chameleon-like ability to look different in every picture taken of him. However, on July 23, the search ended just 40 blocks away from Versace’s home on a two-level houseboat that Cunanan had broken into. There, police found him dead from a self-inflicted bullet wound from the same gun that took the lives of two of his victims. He left no suicide note.

i chose this case because the courtroom footage is one of my favorites because of how good the prosecution was.

Jessica Groves was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole with an additional 32 years tacked on. Daniel Groves was acquitted of aggravated murder. He was sentenced by the Scioto County judge to a prison term of 47 years to life.

For the next 2 hours, he raped their 11 year old daughter. He then left without taking any valuables, only taking a blue jacket and a box of records on his way.

I chose this one because of the fact that he was very experienced in the forensic field.
