August 7th 2024, authorities searched for and found 14 dead bodies, 10 nautical miles of its northern coast. After searching more on the bodies and in the water they discovered 12 packages of substances. The authorities are still trying to find that cause of death and when the people died.

The most popular tradition in Republica Dominicana is carnival de la vega. This event dates back all the way too the 1500's. They do many different things in the carnival. It is instantly recognized because of the exaggerated mask features, with protruding eyes and teeth. This event starts Beginning of February every single year and goes through the whole month.

My faviorte parts about the country was just learning about how they live outisde of the U.S. The dominican republic uses Dominican peso to pay and we use dollars. They have a popular carnival every year to celabrate a traditions. They have a lot of beaches and we do not.
