I’m Özlem, a dedicated biology teacher with a decade of experience in public schools. For the past three years, I’ve been continuing my journey in Istanbul, where I aim to inspire my students with the wonders of science and the joy of discovery.

Nature, science, and the arts have always been close to my heart. My greatest academic interest lies in the field of botany, and I am currently pursuing both personal and scholarly efforts to expand my knowledge in this area. I believe that a deeper understanding of our environment fosters greater awareness and responsibility toward the world we live in.

Animals are another passion of mine—I share my life with a sweet cat who adds warmth and happiness to my daily routine.

Beyond the classroom, I love being involved in educational projects that promote creativity, scientific thinking, and active student participation. Whether it's national or international initiatives, I see them as powerful tools for growth—for my students and for myself.

As a mathematician with a heart for imagination, I strive to blend the rigor of pure math with a sense of curiosity and wonder. I take pride in guiding young minds not only through complex concepts but also through their personal and academic growth—fostering connection, confidence, and a love for learning.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading and handcrafting, especially crocheting, where creativity and patience intertwine—much like in teaching.

In this project,every participant will not only gain a deep understanding of leadership skills which is very significant for their future life, but also they will find the chance of improving their English language skills. Also,learning about new people and their cultures is another opportunity for all of us.

I am at the beginning of my career and maybe I have a very long way to take, but I want to make a difference in the lifes of my students. For this reason,I will be always searching new areas which I can find experiences.

I'm married and I've got a daughter. I love travelling, visiting new countries and meeting new people. I'm into sport and balanced diet, yet I'm not good at cooking. I like reading and watching series on Netflix. Learing about different cultures and customs of other nations is what I really like to do with my students. Through this project I'd like to get my students to learn what is leadership and being a leader in a class, school, and how importatnt are all leaders' skills nowadys.

During my university years, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Erasmus program. This experience opened the doors to international travel and cultural exchange. I visited ten different countries, including Germany, where I spent a significant amount of time studying and exploring. These travels have enriched my worldview and deepened my appreciation for different cultures and languages.

I’m happily married and a proud parent to a wonderful child who is being raised bilingual. Watching my child grow up speaking two languages fluently is one of my greatest joys—it reflects both my professional and personal dedication to language learning.

Outside of teaching, I have a wide range of hobbies and interests. I love reading books, especially fiction and educational literature. Watching TV series is another favorite pastime; I enjoy stories that spark curiosity and emotions. I'm also passionate about exploring new places—whether it's a hidden gem in my own city or a completely different country, discovering new environments excites me.

Surprisingly to some, I genuinely enjoy cleaning. I find it relaxing and therapeutic—it gives me a sense of order and calm. Music is another essential part of my daily life; it energizes me, soothes me, and often inspires creativity. I also love meeting new people, learning about their stories, and exchanging ideas and experiences.

Overall, I would describe myself as curious, friendly, and open-minded. I believe that lifelong learning, both in and out of the classroom, is the key to personal growth and fulfillment.

My name is Nouha Damak and I’m an English teacher from Tunisia. I’ve been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for over 18 years in public secondary schools, and I’ve also worked with students of different ages and backgrounds, including in non-formal education settings. I'm passionate about creating engaging learning environments and using digital tools to enhance student motivation and creativity.

I hold a Master's degree in New Educational Technologies and a TESOL certificate from Arizona State University. I also facilitate training workshops for teachers, focusing on technology integration, social-emotional learning, and student well-being.

What I love most about international projects like eTwinning is the opportunity to connect across cultures, share ideas, and design meaningful, collaborative learning experiences for our students.
