The main theme of my book is don't be greedy. I think this because, In Narnia the lion the Witch and the Wardrobe the White Witch can be very greedy. She wants as many servants and statues as possible, but overall, she is greedy for power, which means, all of the opposing power goes against her. That means that she ends up starting a battle and hurt many. If she hadn't been greedy for power, know one would had gotten hurt She ends up getting defeated by the good side that does what is right for the land of Narnia and isn't greedy. They all work together and take each other's back and that is why they win.

One example of the theme don't be greedy in my book is on page 39 when it says "At last the Turkish Delights were finished, looking very hard at the empty box and wishing that she would ask him whether he would like some more. Probably the queen knew quite well what he was thinking; for she knew, though Edmond did not, that this was enchanted Turkish Delights and that anyone who had once tasted it would want more and more of it." Later in the book, Edmond went to the queen , but the queen just wanted to capture Edmond and never actually gave him more. If the queen hadn't done that, then Aslinn wouldn't have had to be killed instead of Edmond. Then, if the queen hadn't so greedy for having the power of control over Edmond, then nobody would have had to die. This shows that Greediness never leads to good things.

One example from history when people were greedy from history and bad things happened was when the United states gained control of the native american's land and because the government then was so greedy for land that they forced the native Americans off of their lands and made them move onto reservations and many died. This shows that by being to greedy, you can kill many. And possibly hurt more people then you are helping by getting what you want.

One example of greed on my life is when me and my friends play a game that when the tagger says 'Grounders' when they aren't looking and if you are on the ground you have to tell them and be it. Some of my friends will say that they aren't on the ground when they actually are to avoid being the tagger. This also causes the tagger to have to be the tagger for a long time which is not nice to them. That is one example of greed in my own life.

Another example of the theme don't be greedy in Narnia is on page 101 when it says " the lion never moved, nor did the dwarf. And now at last Edmund remembered what the others had said about the white which turning people into stone." This shows that the white which turns people into stone just to have a lot of statues to look at. This shows that she is very greedy because many people lost their lives by being turned to stone.

The third example of theme from Narnia is when it says on page 168 " A mean roar of laughter went up from her followers as an monster with shears came forward and squatted down by Aslann's head." Aslann let the white which hurt her to get some one else safe. If Aslann hadn't done that, then they might not have won the war. This shows that not being selfish is very worthwhile and important.

Another movie that shows the theme don't be greedy is the greatest showman. I think this because the main character left his family to explore and meet many people and show companies. He was greedy for information and didn't spend enough time with his family. This shows that by being greedy causes you not to be able to do things with more important things and therefore shouldn't do that.
