         <description><![CDATA[<div>My main take-away was how we do in life is 10% what happens to us and 90% is how we respond. Take a deep breath and look at your commitment, control and change. These 3 C's are important because this is how you can overcome hardships and commit, sense of controlling things and what changes you can make. He stated that he likes to play Tennis and take his mind of things in playing his favorite sport. I think playing volleyball or going swimming helps me be in a sense of control and overcome the stress. Doing what you love, either a sport or a job, helps you see the bigger picture and how you can can be successful with less stress. Divide your time with completing tasks, homework, and chores first, and then hobbies, games, and friend hang outs second. In this order, you can complete both things in life with success. You should always release the stress with seeing what you can change about it and commit to it!</div>]]></description>

I was diagnosed with cancer some years ago and had to deal with allot of changes not all bad, I learned there was allot I stressed over that I had no control over.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The one thing that really learned from that video is the part where someone ate a slice of cake and ruined their diet. Then they said I might as well just eat it all. How this relates to my situation is the current job I'm working at. The pay is not that great and it's quite difficult to request paid days off. It's extremely stressful. I waited such a long time that when a thought popped into my head where if I worked somewhere else with significantly better benefits/pay, this could of happened instead. That didn't transpire, because I waited too long. Then negativity took over and made me have a mind set where it is too late, I'm too old now and I might as well just work at this miserable job for the rest of my life and hope that if I play the lottery long enough, this vicious cycle will end once and for all. That's a consequence of allowing your negativity to consume you. Do not think that way. Remain positive and think what actions can be carried out right now. Well I finally decided to enroll at Renton Technical College for Machinist Training to change my future hopefully for the better. That is a huge step to make. In conclusion, if you have the opportunity to take action now, ignore your negative thoughts, think positive and just do it! It is never too late.<br><br></div>]]></description>
