What Zendaya did on the trapeze was beautiful and elegant, just like a butterfly. Not to mention that they both “fly.” When she choose to wear this dress to the premiere she is supporting Emerson's quote, “In the woods we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall me in life, no disgrace, calamity, which nature cannot repair,” from his writing Nature. People wouldn’t have suspected her to wear a butterfly dress because it didn’t match her character. She wanted to show people that butterflies are important and elegant they truly are. Butterflies are apart of nature and the part of the quote that says ‘There I feel that nothing can befall me in life,’ should really be noted. The beautiful insect can do no harm. Only good.  

His partner, Kate, came back as a ghost and tried guiding him in the right direction. She was telling him to trust his gut. When Gibbs is at a loss, he goes down to his basement and works on building a boat. The wood calms him as well as the thought of being on the soothing waters helps him figure things out. During the choosing ceremony the main character Tris had to make a very tough decision. She had to choose if she wanted to stay with her parents or go to a different faction. Henry Thoreau's quote, “My feet wore a path from my door to the pond side,” fit what happened to Tris. She was about to choose to stay into her own faction but she could feel the pull from the coal of dauntless pulling her. In the last second she changed her mind and moved her hand. Changing the course of the rest of her life. 

In the famous song ‘How far I’ll go,’ a very famous song from this movie, Moana talks about wanting to go beyond the reef. She then takes a boat and leaves the reef. She believed in Henry Thoreau's quote, “I had several more lives to live, and could not spare any more time for that one.” She risked her life trying to better the lives of the villagers. With her hard work and determination she was able to accomplish this. All because she didn’t want to settle with just fishing from the reef.
