Global Citizenship skills are important for the development of our students. Topics such as identity and reward, conflict and peace, sustainable living, empathy and critical thinking can be linked to daily life, but also overseas. By adding these skills to the policy and the internationalization program, our students become more global citizens.

Today I studied the theory of the course book more closely and read some interesting things that we can use when drawing up the curriculum for internationalization.
An important point is that the global dimension should be reflected in the attitudes and values of our students, the ethos of the school, the programs of study and key skills.

No matter what we are saying, we need the global citizen. It is within the responsibility of the teachers to integrate that internationalisation into the school curricula and policy. Therefor learning and teaching languages to promote the EUs broad linguistic diversity has to be improved.

To be part of an exchange or a trip to another country as a pupil not only enhances his or her horizon, but it makes them also become global citizens. To prepare them, they should be given the chance to make everyday experiences - especially when we think about one of the biggest topic of our times: Global Warming. When pupils get the chance to experience e.g. the importance of a coral reef at see at feel it „for real“, they might feel more responsible for their environment.

Today I learned about the global citizenship and the international school policy.

It’s very important in my opinion to improve the level of key competences and skills. In this way you prepare students to go out into the world.

For students (and teachers) it is really important to experience intercultural awareness. In order to do that, it is important that students can speak foreign languages well.

These are things that, in my opinion, you should include in the international school plan.

I'v  just convinced how important internalization is! It is very important if that must be in every school. And there should be an exchange of experience and good connections with other schools and countries. An interesting fact is that always seems not enough activitues being done in your owns school. ..

Today I have learned that international policy and global isseaus are importeur for everyone inclusief our students. Globaal issues are an important part of the live of our students living in a world where economies are increasingly interdependent and global communication is a dialy reality.

The students travel around the world, watch stories from around the world and follow international sportief events as thee happen.

Today we reflected on our internationalization policy. I learned that you can also use replacement lessons for internationalization. For example, we can include a series of lessons in our policy or provide culture lessons through job shadowing with the help of teachers from abroad. We also really want to involve the entire school in the policy in order to gain sufficient support.

Today I learned about our schools, internationalisation program. Something I wasn’t familiar with before. Because in our school Hilgo is responsible for this program. Rita gave us new insights about things you can undertake to include internationalisation in the curriculum, for instance job shadowing with teachers from another country. I also learned that we have to teach our students with a global perspective and make them understand that they are part of a bigger proces. Think globally act locally.

Today I learned about the importance of internationalisation. The students must go out of their school building explore the world. In our school curriculum is written that we have to teach our students to become world citizens. Foreign exchange programs contributie to the students' self esteem, a more open attitude towards different cultures and increased language proficiency.
