Geodetic benchmark by siamak tafazzoli

While GNSS networks are replacing traditional geodetic network, there is still a huge interest in protecting geodetic marks and benchmarks ! The reason is for quality control of GNSS RTK operations ! Let's join our initiative and have fun discovering where geodetic benchmarks are located ! We are suggesting a cooperative initiative where all "users" would become godfather for one or several geodetic benchmarks. The commitment is simple : Take a picture, video with your geodetic benchmark and say to the world how still good the coordinates are on this padlet.

there is a big "yogurt pot" in the bay of Cannes, next to holy marguerite island. this yogurt pot was a tag to help seamen to change their direction to not stranted on the hight background. nowadays this tag is replaced by two new tag.
