Feel like there are a bit too many different groups going on right now. Hard to arrange so many meetings and keep track of what people are in what group. For example internship buddies and final project support group could have been the same to make things easier.

Everything's been going very well, we've had amazing lecturers and I feel super excited for the final project.

However, I feel like there's a little too many important things happening at the same time. Makes it hard to prioritize. Example: While doing the FCS, we had to attend all workshops we planned on going to as well as preparing and applying for internships.

I think it’s kind of hard to put energy in to everything you’re doing when there’s so much going on. I know we’re supposed to be able, and to learn how to juggle many things at once. But for me it would have been nice to have this semester to put focus and energy in to doing a project that I feel proud of to be able to land a internship and have some confidence starting it in January. Right now there’s three different groups where you want to be present, bring ideas and be supportive in. At the same time we have lectures, portfolio and final project to work on. Maybe I’m bad at planning or easy stressed, and maybe that’s the lesson for this semester, but I feel like I have studies at 200% right now. Maybe could have lowered the amounts of different groups working on different things or something in order for us to be able to put 100 focus in the thing we actually take part in. It just feels a bit messy and hard to know where to put my energy when you want to do good in all of them.

I can agree with the rest of the comments here. I wish we had started on client projects a month or two earlier and started portfolio work before summer. We are urged to apply for internships suddenly when few even have any work to show. I would shorten the experimentation and expression through motion design and go into projects where we get to work on skills we're interested in, instead of motion capture etc, that is extremely niche. Other areas that are also niche like stop motion could be axed. I feel treating motion program like art school can be causing more confusion than helping. Compared to other classes the motion class doesn't seem to have much time to relax and reflect considering the amount of hours we need to commit to learning our hard skills, as they're not taught to us in school other than scratching the surface. That's why I think it could be good to start on client projects earlier instead of bombarding us with different crafts. It's still not arts school, but in true Hyper spirit, a fast paced school meant for us to get employed asap.
