The Montgomery Bus Boycott happened due to segregation on busses. There was a section for colored and whites, when the whites section was full people seated in the colored section were required to move to make space for the whites.

. This event happened because of the racist laws in montgomery. African Americans refused to ride the bus in protest of segregated seating.

. This event shone light on Martin Luther King Jr who was able to lead the civil rights movement

. The black students were not allowed and were stopped by the Arkansas national guard. Later on President Eisenhower sent federal troops to escort the students into the school.

. This even drew lots of attention towards the civil rights movement. This event also started desegregation of schools.
