I learned about the sphinx and that it isn't a cat. A sphinx is a lion with a human head which emphasizes a pharaoh's traits. They also serve to guard the pyramids.

I found mummification interesting. It was intresting to me and important to them because they believed that if a person wasnt mummified they wouldnt be prepared for the afterlife. The process was also interesting, especially leaving the heart and removing all organs. One thing that baffles me is that they killed the person's pets and mummified them, so if you were a pet of an eldery person in ancient Egypt, good luck.

For me, I think it is the mummification process.

I find it quite interesting to learn different parts of it like how they remove their organs and put it in different jars, their unique cultures in the death of their people. I admire their effort to mummify people and the advance techniques in preserving dead bodies.

One thing that I learned about in this lesson that I found intresting was the Sphinx. This is because before this lesson I didn't know that the body represents a lion and the head represents a human head. The body of a lion symbolizes the strength of a lion and the human head symbolizes the intelligence of a human. The Sphinx was built to guard the pyramids.
