The mother in the poem didn’t have a smooth path, but she never gave up—and that taught me that challenges are a part of the journey, not the end of it.

The poem relates to my own challenges because there were times I felt like giving up on school or personal goals, especially when things got tough. But just like the mother kept climbing her broken staircase, I’ve learned to keep pushing forward even when I feel stuck or tired.

After today’s lesson, perseverance means holding on, even when it’s hard, and believing that every step forward matters. It’s not about having a perfect path—it’s about staying determined through every twist, turn, and fall.
