Oturum beş dizi turda gerçekleştirilir. Her bir turda katılımcılar yalnız çalışır ve kendi okullarını veya sınıflarını düşünerek bir boyuta yönelik değerlendirmeyi tamamlarlar. Daha sonra yanıtlarının gerekçelerini sunarak belki bunlara meydan okuyarak, değerlendirmeyi yükselterek ve alçaltarak küçük gruplar halinde sonuçları karşılaştırırlar. Her bir turdan sonra grupların içindeki kişiler değişir. Böylece bütün katılımcılar mümkün olduğunda farklı insanla konuşma fırsatı bulur. Oturumun sonunda, yeniliğe yönelik bazı alanlar tanımlanmaktadır.
2 – TET-SAT aracı
Buna alternatif olarak öğretmenler, öğretmenlere yönelik hazırlanmış teknoloji tarafından desteklenen öz değerlendirme aracını seçebilirler (TET-SAT). Bu çevrimiçi araç, 14 alt alana bölünmüş olan dijital pedagojik yetkinliğin dört boyutunu değerlendirmektedir.
