Esta eres tú yendo a otras corrientes marinas para continuar explorando, descubriendo cosas nuevas, haciendo nuevos amigos, divirtiendote y más. Es difícil dejarte ir porque se te estima mucho, pero estoy agradecida por todo lo que compartimos y por que hayas sido mi jefa con quien aprendí muchas cosas y con quien me sentí valorada y escuchada. It cannot go unsaid that there are certain members of this organization who, regardless of tenure, become part of the DNA of FTUSA. In those cases, the time flies by, and that was quickly true of you. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that it has already been 10 years. There are only a handful of people in my time here that have had as broad and deep of an impact on our work as you have. Leadership proves out when it is successfully executed across so many roles and so many teams. And in each role, you brought integrity, collaboration, strategic thinking, and above all else an unwavering commitment to deeply listen to those closest to the pain. Your dedication to truly seeing and hearing the farmers, workers, fishers, and communities we seek to serve, as well as to the members of your various teams, is a legacy that the rest of us can follow long after your departure. We talk about the 'ripples of impact' that FT creates in communities through the immeasurable elements of our standards like democratic decision making and inclusive leadership. As you take this next step, do so knowing that you have created those ripples both in those communities and ours, and they will be felt for many, many years to come. You are leaving with all of our best wishes and confidence that wherever your next steps take you, that impact will follow.
