Finally, measure the waist. Turn the shirt over and measure across the narrowest part of the shirt. The chest measurement can be a bit tricky to do by yourself to make sure the tape is level.

To use a sewing machine, first we put the cord into the socket. Next, insert the foot controller plug into its jack on the rear side of the machine. Then we press the main power switch. After that, we thread the machine. Before, we turn the hand wheel towards you to lift the needle up. Then, we lower the presser foot by using the lever on the back of the sewing machine. After, we select the type of stitch aand stitch length. Finally, we press the foot controller to start sewing. Always keep your fingers away from the needle when sewing. Don't pull the fabric while the machine is working and turn off the machine when not in use. Be careful and have fun sewing!

Sometimes, sewing machines have problems. I will give instructions on how to troubleshoot 3 common problems of a sewing machine. The first is replacing the broken needle. First, lift the presser foot lever on the back of the machine up to raise the presser foot. Second, turn the handwheel to raise needle to the highest position. You need to use the screwdriver to loosen the needle clamp screw by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the broken needle and replace it with a new one. Turn the needle clamp screw clockwise to tighten it. The second is winding the bobbin. First, thread the bobbin. Put your bobbin on the bobbin winder and lock it. Press the foot pedal to start filling up the bobbin. When your bobbin is full with thread, cut the thread and remove the bobbin from the winder. You need to hold the end of the thread that you inserted through the hole of the bobbin. Push the end of the thread through the hole in your bobbin. The finally is thread bunching. First, lift the presser foot lifter/lever on the back of the machine up to raise the presser foot. Second, you will need to raise needle to the highest position by turning the handwheel counterclockwise. Then, raise the take-up lever. Rethread the machine. Confirm you have the right tension on the upper thread. To keep the sewing machine in good condition you should clean and oil the machine regularly. If the machine stops working, we check the power switch and socket. When not in use, we should turn off the machine. This is some information about note when using the sewing machine.
