I believe technology has shifted us into a new era in which it assists us in our teaching. Submitting assignments online, communicating with students and parents, learning platforms, and access to multiple teacher platforms. However, I believe it has taken away the ability to do small everyday life tasks such as reading and writing. It also saddens me to see people on technology devices 24/7 which stops us from being human.

There is so much good, but it can be overtaken and overused to become bad. I think the world of social media has proved that to us in which it is more of a world than reality for most adolescents growing up in. today's world. It is our duty to teach students how to navigate it in which they will hopefully learn appropriate usage and a healthy balance.

Change is inevitable. However, I want to implement the disconnect to reconnect vision so that we aren't spiraling forward faster than we can keep up with the technology. If we learn when and how to use it effectively, students will see that we don't need technology for everything we do in the classrooms which transcends to life.
