However many states make it extremely easy to get a gun. Most states don't require a mental health check and they will only do a background check on the past 3 years. If you don't have a criminal record then you will be able to receive a gun fairly easily. In many states, guns can be bought at Walmart. People should not be able to buy a gun in the same place children toys are bought. Even if gun reform laws are made stricter, people will still be able to buy guns illegally. This is an unpreventable thing. I also feel bad for the parents who should still have their children today.
