Target Audience- This is targeted towards anyone who is interested or has some experience with skateboarding.

Criteria- For the product, the requirements include:

1. Portability: Make the skateboard easy to carry with a compact and lightweight design.

2. Functionality: Guarantee a smooth and stable riding experience with fingers, similar to a standard-sized skateboard.

3. Safety: Prioritize rider safety with reliable grip, and smooth wheels.

4. Aesthetics: Making it visually striking and very aesthetically pleasing.

5. Affordability: Ensure a reasonable price to appeal to beginners, enthusiasts, and casual riders.

6. Durability: Construct the skateboard from durable, hard materials for long-lasting use.

   1. Aesthetically pleasing: Make the magazine visually striking and attractive to our clients.

   To measure the success of our small skateboard design project, we can look at how well it works, and what people think by creating a form and asking them about our product. We can also make sure if we meet all the requirements or not.

1. Wheels: 

Original Plan: The initial plan was to use wooden wheels so that it could give a uniform wooden aesthetics to it. 

Fixes Made: So, I instead made the wheels created from soft plastic. Fixing this gives more creativity in design, as due to its softness it can be molded into various shapes and sizes, as using wood feels very restrictive.  

Benefit: The wheels being wood would be hard, and heavy to use. The softness also gives it a smoother and easier to feel riding. 

2. Trucks: 
   Original Plan: Wooden trucks were crafted to be to matched the wooden wheels and deck, ensuring the wanted aesthetics, but this makes the skateboard heavier and harder to use. 

Fixes Made: The trucks were modified to be made using long sticks instead. The long sticks made the skateboard lighter, easier, and faster to use. However, the use of sticks does not change the aesthetics of the handmade aesthetics that I was going for. 

Benefit: Using long sticks instead of rigid wood makes the skateboard significantly lighter, ensuring a smooth ride. 

3. Aesthetics: 

Original Plan: The initial aesthetics was to have a design of a moon under the skateboard like in most skateboards: 

Fixes Made: For the original plan I was supposed to use dark colors like black, and silver. But instead, I used more of a light and  vibrant color like green in which I used under my skateboard, and changed the design into slime as it can fill up the whole entire skateboard giving it a more visually striking look to it, catching people's attention.

       Changes made to magazine: 

1. Subheadings Placement:  

Original Plan: The subheadings were supposed to be on the side of the magazine, but instead it was on top of the magazine with the caption (Ride the pulse of Skate Culture).  

Fixes made: Putting it on the side gives the main drawing and visual loses its power to capture people's attention, and when I put the caption on top the main drawing gives the most attention as it is bigger and nothing to the side or in front of it. 

2. Captions:

   
   

   Original Plan: The initial captions were (Skateboard is not a crime) and (2024 Hottest magazine) these captions were not a story. 

Fixes made: So, I fixed the caption into (Upcoming Park opening in Phnom Penh) this is a news story that skateboarders would love to hear as there are a limited amount skate park in Phnom Penh and they would have a new place to skate in.
