On the flip side, Technology Transfer is all about sharing knowledge, skills, or technologies from one place to another.

Entrepreneurs can use it to tap into new markets, collaborate with fellow innovators, and contribute to the progress of science and society.

   • Explored the laws in the Philippines that guide IPR and technology transfer, like the Intellectual Property Code, Technology Transfer Act, and Innovation Act.

2. Intellectual Property Rights Breakdown:

   • Delved into the various types of IPR like patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights. We discussed how to apply for them, keep them, and ensure they're enforced.

3. Tech Transfer Journey:

   • Unpacked the process of technology transfer, covering stages like identification, evaluation, protection, marketing, negotiation, contracting, and monitoring.

In a nutshell, we learned how to safeguard our creative brainchildren with IPR and how to share and benefit from them through the exciting journey of Technology Transfer.

   • An exploration of the pros and cons of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the pivotal role of startup ecosystems. These systems serve as vital support structures, helping entrepreneurs overcome challenges and leverage the benefits of entering the business arena.

   • Identification of the varied actors within a startup ecosystem, ranging from entrepreneurs and investors to mentors, customers, partners, service providers, government agencies, academic institutions, media outlets, and community organizations.
