Wreck-It Ralph really is a bad guy! I'll be using Pathos to show how the main character in this film is actually a villain (or bad guy) too!

First off, when Ralph broke Vanellope’s racecar, she cried and said, “You really are a bad guy.” That is an example of him breaking a child’s favourite toy, and the cute child saying that he's a bad guy and crying!

He then ruined another party and smashed their cake (it was the Nicelander’s 30 anniversary celebration), which means he ruined a celebration for dozens of people who had waited 30 years for that celebration party!

Lastly, one more example is Ralph betraying Vanellope for a gold medal, even after pretending to be her friend. Vannellope (who's a little girl) cried and begged Ralph to not destroy her prized race car, but Ralph destroyed it after getting the gold medal he always wanted from another character.

After stating all these facts, it’s indisputable that the main character Wreck-It Ralph is truly an example of a bad guy, and not someone that students should have as a role model!

A persuasive paragraph has three main parts:

1. The Claim
(What are you trying to prove?)

Even though he’s portrayed as the ‘good guy’ in an animated film, Wreck-It Ralph’s sayings, actions, and associations with other characters prove that he truly is a ‘bad guy’!

2. The Persuasive Techniques (Prove your claim using your knowledge of persuasive techniques! Make sure to explain!)

First off, when Ralph broke Vanellope’s racecar, she cried and said, “You really are a bad guy.” That is an example of him breaking a child’s favourite toy, and the cute child saying that he's a bad guy and crying!

3. The Claim Re-Written
(What did you try to prove? Say it again!)

After stating all these facts, it’s indisputable that the main character Wreck-It Ralph is truly an example of a bad guy, and not someone that students should have as a role model!
