The children loved to interact with little things they had. They did not have as much as the Zoo and Exploration Place. There would be little interactive activities throughout that kids could move too.

They had a kids area meant for little kids. It was buzzing in there. They had toys for kids an activities where they could control the weather on a screen that had a city. Some kids were playing with each other on the floor in there.

From this place I took away that it is more meant for older kids. It did have an kids room and some activities but most of it I saw was a museum with writing everywhere. I still think it is a fun place to go but it definitely won't take long to go through the whole thing with a kid.

I would apply how they had an activity every once in a while in the museum part. I think it is clever to add an activity or break for kids in between lessons in the classroom.

The Zoo had its own part called "Children Farm" Where the kids could go and pet some animals. Throughout they had some places where you can even feed the animals. They also had a little play ground with a concession stand next to it for the kids to play and wind down at. The park is also big so it never felt crowed with the walkways being so wide.

The kids loved the pet the animals. I saw some screaming children but most were calm and loved to listen to the working talk about the animal they were petting. They also went crazy for the play ground. Running around everywhere.

My takeaway is that children love to run around the be hands on with actives. They had some screens for kids inside but most kids went out to pet animals.

For my future classroom I will keep in mind how much kids love hands on activities and to run around. I will create actives that they can create things with their own imagination.

This was my favorite experience. I just haven't been to a zoo in about 7 years and I forgot what it was like. There is so much to do and I love how it is outside. It was huge and not overstimulating as some places.

This whole place there are actives for the kids to do. They had different areas related to different things. They had a space theme area where kids could go into a cockpit of a plane and pretend to fly it. They had a shark area with touch screens that tells more about sharks.

The kids love it there. Running around everywhere playing with everything. They love to be loud in there and make a mess. I think they also love how much there is to do you really can't get bored there. It is definitely overstimulating for me to be there now that I am grown.
