He's cool. At times can be a bit one-dimensional but he ends up doing the right thing a lot of the time despite it being for selfish reasons.

Scorpion, outside of being an iconic game character, is very interesting and goes through a lot of arcs throughout the games. He's an undead ninja trying to kill Sub-Zero, who he thinks killed him and his family. After killing the first Sub-Zero, he finds out it was someone else and teams up with Sub-Zero's younger brother (who took up the mantle of Sub-Zero) to kill the real killer.

Billy Butcher

Billy Butcher is an insanely well-written character. He's a character that you know is right sometimes but it's an insanely hard pill to swallow. He's ruthless, and he's not someone who's well-meaning most of the time, but he does the world good favors.
