• No trunk control below C3, supportive backrest and properly fitted headrest maintain upright posture, prevent collapse and reduce risk of pressure injuries.

Pneumatic (air-filled) offers shock absorption for smooth ride, more comfort on uneven terries, can get flats however 

Solid / foam filled: maintenance free, no risk of flats, harsher ride (more vibration which isn't ideal for someone at risk for skin breakdown)
