Garvin students in grades 3 to 5 will collaborate in teams of 4 (4 to 5 students per team) to create paths to a maze. They will create the maze based on a theme created by teacher. They will use the roll block. The roll block has 3 inputs to be successfully done. Speed, heading, and duration. Students will be graded on time and accuracy for this particular assignment.

When my students participated to the Sphero challenge last year we coded the path of our Sphero's through the obstacle course. Despite having the option of manually driving the sphero the course the students found out that coding in the path was a more efficient way for the sphero to go through the course.


