Wednesday - Lecture synchronous via Canvas/Zoom

Begins January 25th and will end May 24th (has an additional 2 weeks in to accommodate ride out if needed).
You get AVHS spring break off!

This is a closed cohort, only open to AVHS students

If you miss more than two classes, they remove you.

If you are not dressed out for EACH class, you get docked points and they will remove you.

They pay for their National Certification at the end of the class and other items that the school/district or my grant for the MAHST Academy can not pay for.
With that being said, if you take this opportunity, we expect you not to quit the class. I have to do a report for the grant each year and do not want to waste their money. 
It was important to me to get this opportunity with VVC and offer these students an amazing opportunity and I do not want VVC to stop our partnership. Please discuss with your child about how important this is.

Get organized. Write when things are due down in a planner.

DO the readings BEFORE the lecture. You will not be successful without reading the material.

Flash cards - students were given supplies to help them stay organized. 

STUDY. I know this is your last year in highschool so you can not get senioritis. 

Find groups that study together. Be a team, it makes the class fun and you more successful.

Student HAS to graduate high school. Please make sure their grades are up to date in their other classes as you have to have a high school diploma to take the national registry.

They have to have one for the insurance coverage. We pay for that
