Osuna cared for her about becoming a cop and him helping to get Mona a GED a more like high school diploma. Godfather helped her a lot about becoming a police officer giving her experience of different types of situations. When she divorced Frank, she went back to get a job at a library with the help of her sister, then she later worked at the PD again where Osuna had already become a sergeant and welcomed her back. She later wanted to become a cop and Osuna helped her to achieve and later she did even though there were obstacles to becoming a female cop and she overcame those obstacles.
