There would be 3 large schools surveyed, and 3 smaller schools surveyed within a borough. The 3 schools will always be; one elementary, one middle, and one high school. A small school is considered to have 500 students or less, and a large school 600 or more. Within the schools, we will use random sampling by using computer generation. 50% of the students picked with the random sampling must have a appliance or allergies. The other 50% will not. There will be random variation within the districts picked for schools. Then, students who eat school lunch that want to take the survey will gain access to that website and will input their student id so that each student would only be able to get one vote. Students who do not eat school lunch or students who do not want to vote, will not get access to the webpage. Over the course of 1 month, the website will show the data from the students. While taking the online survey, students will not be able to see the data, which prevents bias. Therefore this is a voluntary survey. Our plan is to make a online survey on a website made by the government. People will use their student ID to submit their vote once to avoid spamming a particular vote. Furthermore, only student should vote. (Guardian or teachers can not get a say or vote in this). The schools shall hand out papers with more info and their student ID so that students are more aware of the situation. The students will be given a variety of choices to choose from and not type in their own custom option.
