Firstly, pour water into a measuring cylinder. Then, measure how much water you poured in. After that, put the wooden cube inside and completely submerge the wooden cube. Then, since we already measured how much we poured in, now, measure what is the volume of the water with the wooden cube. Take what you measured at first without the wooden cube and take the volume of water with the wooden cube completely submerged and take the volume of the water and the wooden cube then use the volume to subtract the volume of water without the wooden cube. Then you can get what is the volume of the wooden cube.
