Wrote by Rebecca Frankel. The book it's about the types of things working dog handlers go threw on a daily basis. It is a historical nonfiction book. The setting in this book is in multiple different locations for each war. 
This book hits home for me because this is the kind o f work I actually do as of right now and I hope to do for the rest of my life. I liked the way that the information was actually accurate and that she was actually willing to work to see this stuff. I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars for the information that it give you. 1. What went threw your head when you were told that there's alone a small chance you can come back alive? I felt really worried but I was happy and honored to serve my country. 
2. What made you choose the marine corps? I wanted to serve and the marines seemed to suit me best. 
3. What were your first thoughts when you got told you were getting deployed? I was nervous but confident in myself.  
4. What made you confident? I had alot  of training with my dog and knew we were capable. 
5. What was it like in the flight over? It was really quite because everyone was nervous. 
6.what did you expect to happen when you got there? None of us really knew what to expect.
7. If you could would you go back? No I have done my part. 
8.how was the weather? It was very hot and dry. 
9. How was it when you came back? It was a culture shock for real. 
10. Do people actually thank you as they should for what you've done?
