However they do contrast this by mentioning how the rising CO2 effects climate change itself. The entire city is decreasing the amount of water usage to each family from 23 gallons to 50 gallons. The writers of this article explain how much of a difference this is from the average American. They discuss, wastewater recycling, desalinization projects and more drilling for groundwater.
