The main touristic places in Bogota are the Museo del Oro, Monserrate, the Museo Botero, etc., also, there are outdoor locations such as La Plaza Bolivar and much more. In Bogota we can find a lot of typical dishes like changua and tamal (although it is not originally from the city), but, for me the most representative dish is the ajiaco, actually, it is my favorite dish to eat, it’s a soup with different kinds of tubers, usually, potato and arracacha, chicken, corn and different plants to give it its characteristic flavor.

Here in Bogota, there are not many celebrations, generally, religious events are celebrated throughout the country, however, the city gives rise to different events that are held annually, my favorite is FILBo better known as Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogota, where there are a lot of stalls and exhibitions with a big variety of books of any genre, I always try to go because I think it’s an important and cultural event. Usually in this event, people walk through the stalls looking for books, but also, for posters, pins, characters figures and different items that you can find in these places. Furthermore, during this weekend some writers talk about their works, so people gather to listen to them.

Finally, in Bogota as a tourist or as a resident, you can visit a lot of places, the most iconic is Monserrate which is located in a mountain, so you can pay and go up in the cable car

Con esta entrevista, me sentí más cómoda hablando en inglés con alguien más porque pude practicar a lo largo de la llamada y esto es de gran ayuda para el futuro, pues ensayando consigo ser más fluida y rápida en mis respuestas, además de usar vocabulario más complejo y estos son conocimientos que puedo usar en mi vida personal y profesional, pues si realizo alguna actividad internacional, serán de gran ayuda para mi comunicación y desarrollo personal.
