It enables high rates of member participation in key decisions through transparent and accessible voting procedures, and is constantly informing and engaging members to improve the meaningfulness of their participation.</li><li><strong>Policy</strong> - A more innovative, student-focused union prioritizes equity in policies that will increase student success, particularly for under-served student communities including BIPOC students, students with disabilities, and students from low-income households, and elevate the teaching profession.</li><li><strong>Culture</strong> - A more inclusive, diverse, and professional union is one that focuses on partnership with the district and works to build a culture of diverse professionals focused on effective operations as well as ongoing learning and development among its members in service of student outcomes.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
