John Lennon explains how his mother always told him that the key to life is happiness. When he grew up, he wanted to be happy, not look for a job just to spend the rest of his life working to earn money, to survive. He wanted to live and be happy, that is why he responded to his teachers with the word "happy", and then with the phrase "you didn't understand life"

As thanks to all the experiences she went through in her life, they made her understand that being a human being is more than being an immigrant, it is being someone completely different from each other thanks to the ways of thinking and seeing the world each. This video made me reflect a lot, I recommend that you watch it

The film is about two Franciscan monks who approach a Benedictine monastery located on top of a hill. These are William de Baskerville and his assistant Adso de Melk. William is a man who stands out for his great insight and investigative skills (basically a representation of Sherlock Holmes and William of Ockham) and a former inquisitor (this tells that at that time he had declared innocent a man who translated a book and he was tortured for not having found him guilty until he changed his mind and found said translator guilty, allowing him to be burned at the stake for heresy). Adso is a novice, youngest son of a Baron, whose education is in charge of the monk Guillermo. He is also the narrator of the film, although he tells the events at an advanced age.

These 2 characters are the first to arrive at a Clergy Summit meeting to be held there. A murder has occurred in the monastery and the abbot asks Brother Williams to try to solve the case but without entering the majestic library, they are more fearful for their lives due to the murders than in the monastery that were happening at that time, but only the holy inquisition could intervene, even so the monk and his assistant Adso seek and investigate using the scientific method, putting into practice deductive reasoning to find the answer to the mysterious deaths of the monks of the monastery.

The members of this abbey (these represent the type of religion that prevailed in the fourteenth century) related these events to some evil entity or a diabolical act. Apparently at first it was the key point or the statement that they were not suicides, but murders, it is with the death of the young Greek translator monk that the monks hide various details, such as the only copy of a book by Aristotle, in which there is talk of laughter, which is prohibited in the monastery. This particular element is the one that generated these events and will continue to cause deaths since it is a representation of knowledge, which is in a fight against dogmatism (the first defends free will and the freedom to know and the second seeks faith without questioning, blind and obedient belief). For this reason, the monks do not want Guillermo to investigate too much so they try to scare him with an apparent accident and later, Brother Berengar steals his glasses along with the aforementioned book. The next day, Berengar was found dead in the monastery baths.

Brother Williams believed that dangerous spiritual books existed, so he believed that this book was the cause of the death of the three previous monks. Williams and Adso decide to enter the library (it was forbidden for anyone to enter it) through a secret passage. This library was a labyrinth of traps that the librarian knew perfectly despite his blindness and that they did not show anyone in order to protect their mysteries, but this would end there as a representative of the Inquisition named Bernardo Ghi arrives, who has the des Fortunio that when they found a young woman stealing food, there were also black cats and dead chickens in that place, making them believe that she was a witch and that she was the cause of the monks' deaths. For the abbots and the inquisition, the woman was nothing but a mistake in the world. They were the source of all evil, and they believed that the devil worked through them to drive men away from the faith.

The monk who murdered was in some way taking revenge and stealing what was stolen from the people (the relationship between the church and the people was a clear reference to the colonial situation, which is the domination imposed by a racially and culturally different foreign minority , acting in the name of a racial or ethnic and cultural superiority, dogmatically affirmed, causing the colonized to test the colonial situation as an enterprise of material and spiritual dispossession), but at the same time enjoyed committing murder. So, he was considered a heretic. He made a false confession that had to do with the devil, since he was forced on the basis of torture, while he was publicly interrogated. Still, Brother Williams defended him saying that he was innocent and that convicting him would not solve the problem.

Brother Williams predicted and it was reason for them to be inclined to think that he was the murderer and they began their search, but at that moment he was worried about reaching the library and discovering the mysteries that were in the largest library that he has seen in his life. As he approached, he came across the copy of Aristotle's book, which was considered his reward for having gone beyond what others could have found in that labyrinth full of traps. But that book hid a secret, it was poisoned, however, Williams used one of his gloves and problem solved. In the end, Brother Williams discovered the oldest monk in the monastery, which was the one who caused the fire in the library where he lost his life and at the same time most of the books were lost, only the books and scrolls that saved the monk Williams.

I think it is possible to change, but it is too complicated a task. Oddly enough, there are still racist people like those depicted in the movie "The help", who, so to speak, are fine with Floyd's outrageous case.

We have to understand once and for all that this type of discrimination, not only in the United States, but everywhere, is an unacceptable act. There are many cases similar to those of Floyd which were not as recognized as the one mentioned above, and will simply be forgotten. We need to realize and do something about the suffering people involved in these racial acts go through.
