The following video is a part of a news program in USA. This fragment of the news talks about the new hot topic everyone is talking about: the Coronavirus.
As we all know, this new virus had a huge impact in our health and economy. It became a hot topic and there's people using social media for spreading fake news aspiring to gain few new followers.
The presenter talks about some false posts which contain false advices of taking care of a person with the virus and how harmful they can be for our health.
Also, the woman in the video talks about what platforms like Google or Facebook did about those fake news and how they banned that type of content.
Another ways fake news were used were for political reasons. Lot of Trump haters created fake articles to make him look like a bad and irresponsible president.
It's clear that people don't take things seriously and they aren't conscious about the huge damage their articles may have on the society.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR QUARANTINE

As homework for the third week of quarantine, we have to write down some things that we recommend doing during these days. Due to this task, I decided to write in this post some things I think may be helpful to help you cope with this day's in an easier way. I will start mentioning some activities and then I'll end with a personal conclusion I arrived at.
Me, as a great reader, I have a lot of books to recommend and also a long list of books that I want to read.
On the list of books I've read I highly recommend titles as "Iron flowers"; "The Maze runner" saga; "The Hunger Games" also a saga; "Lie", "Truth" and "Fear", a trilogy written by Care Santos, a Spanish writer and "Leon is searching you", a Catalan book I've enjoyed a lot too.
On the other hand I have a long list of books I want to read so, I'll only name a few as I did in the last paragraph: "The Death cure", the third book of "The Maze runner" saga; "The Lucifer effect", a book written by a book that talks about how good people can turn into evil based on psychology; "1894 " and "Animal farm" from George Orwell. Trying to write your own book may also be a great idea.
If we enter the movie category I don't really have recommendations due to the fact that I don't use to watch them. Anyway, I'd recommend "Money Heist" as a series. Also a good thing to watch may be documentaries about thematic you are interested into, in my case it may be Economy or Psychology researches.
Anyway there also are other activities that are more dynamic such as painting, working out or games that you can enjoy with your family. Lately I've been playing chess with my dad and him, my mom and I also took the table we had in our living room and using some pencil cases we made a net. Afterwards we played ping pong during hours.
In the end I also have a recommendation: STOP COMPLAINING!
I see a lot of people being angry because they have to stay home and not being able to go outside. I thought about it a lot and I really enjoy having a lot of free time. I can rest and learn how to organize my days better. I also try to improve myself daily, making time for learning a new language, in this case Italian, improving my playing the guitar and cooking skills and the most important thing: I can enjoy talking with my family and spending time with them. There have been days when I saw them just a few minutes a day because of the tasks we all had to do.
I think it's great to reflect on things in a deeper way, see how lucky we are we don't have to worry about surviving on a daily basis or carrying a lot of pressure on our shoulders due to 12h+ of working in hospitals. We all know how difficult the situation is for the Sanity sector right now.
I hope quarantine would open people's eyes into realizing how lucky they are to be healthy, alive, and still having their loved ones by their side.
Any activity, literally, ANY ACTIVITY is good to enjoy and learn from it. From having coffee with your parents while the sun rises from playing table games or even doing homework and learning new stuff.
Be positive and find ways to enjoy this free time. Do this for our society and for yourself.

THE KEY OF SOLIDARITY

This one is for all of you.

Stop. Just stop. Don't move! Just breathe...
It's not a petition, it's an order. I'm here to help you. This fast car has no more road to travel on. No more planes, schools, meetings... I've broken your goals and tasks, those ones which made you not be able to stop, take a deep breath and look at the sky.
You all forgot how to make time for each other. I've come to destroy those selfish attitudes that, sadly, are a common characteristic easy to find in each one of you.
I've had to broke your routines.
Your obligations are mutual, it always has been like that. I don't care you've forgotten about it. Neither of you is making things right. You're all a small dot on this enormous planet and, even knowing that, you think you're the center of this whole world.
All of you are suffering, running on a daily basis to achieve who knows what. What are you going to do when everything will fall apart? What are you doing now, when it finally happened?
Have you forgotten that, to sustain huge things, you need a strong core? YOU are the core of the planet, it needs all of you so it can be sustained. But you are too selfish to think about anything else that doesn't give you a reward... Something in exchange.
I'm here to help. This is a message for the humanity. You can't stay healthy in such a damaged ecosystem and mental state.
You need each other. You need to be close to your family again. You spend so much time in work, school and parties you've forgot your loved ones. The ones who matter.
I hope that, during this crisis, the key is solidarity. You need other to take care of you, to work so you can have your daily aliments. Now you'll learn to value the ones who help you stay alive when the only thing you're allowed to do is staying home.
Learn to be grateful, solidary.
The planet and the world needs you more than ever, united, working together for the same goal.
Keep each other safe so you can keep the planet safe.

Covid-19.
