Anyway, I am 16 years old. I was born on June 7, 2008, in Madrid Surigao del Sur, but we moved to Hinatuan Surigao del Sur permanently when I was 7 years old.

Meet my mother, Adelyn. I believe my mother is also an introvert like me; she is often quiet when around people she doesn't know, and we are very alike in this aspect. She is a very hardworking and dedicated mother; despite hardships, she stays strong for our family. I appreciate how she didn't give up on us, especially since I was a very emotional kid. She is and will always be the strongest woman I know. No words can compare to how much I love my mother. No matter how much we argue, I am and will always be my mama's boy.

Meet my father, Erwin. Unlike my mother, my father is an extrovert; he is very outgoing and friendly to everyone. My father is an OFW worker in Saudi Arabia, so we only get to see him for 2 months in 1 year. Ever since I was a child, I already understood why he was working abroad: he was doing it for our future. I never repented him for going abroad as I knew he was doing it for us. I appreciate his sacrifices so much; despite not seeing him often physically while growing up, he always made sure to be there for me emotionally; he called us every day and checked up on us. Now, you may wonder why I refer to him as Papa King, simply because he is our king; he provides not only our physical needs but also our emotional needs, just like a real king.

Meet my younger sister, Angela. I mentioned earlier that I was a Gemini; well, guess what? So is my sister! She was born on June 11, 2011, which makes her a Gemini as well. Gemini is represented by twins, so since both me and my sister are Geminis, I consider her as my other half. Meet our older sister, her name is Carmela. She's the one holding the camera, and the baby my younger sister is holding is our older sister's daughter, our niece. Our older sister is the best; despite already having a family, she still manages to give us attention; she also often sends us food hehe. I appreciate her efforts for us, and she is the best older sister ever!

If you ask me why I study very hard, I'd probably say "for clout" or "because I want to," but if you ask me on a deeper level, it's all for my parents. Both of my parents grew up in poverty; there were times they had to endure their hunger because there was nothing to eat; they worked hard to get to where they are right now and are still working hard to provide the best future for us. So, I dedicate all my academic achievements to them, and I want to repay all their sacrifices through this. I'd do anything for my family. To sum it all up, my family is the most important thing in my life. I would choose them over anything, and nothing will ever replace them. I love them so much I could go for hours talking about why I love them.

Anyways, I consider this as one of my biggest achievements because this was my first time joining campus journalism, and the fact that I became an RSPC qualifier without that much experience is pretty impressive. I was an editorial writer. Plus, I was still in sixth grade here.

I like these media platforms because they help improve my lifestyle. They give me convenience. For example, Gizmo can automatically create flashcards for me, which is essential for active recall when there are quizzes or exams. These media platforms also give me entertainment. TikTok, for instance, has many videos on this application that entertain me. These media also give me information, like Facebook, Instagram, and X or Twitter. Lastly, these also allow me to communicate; apps like Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and even TikTok allow me to communicate with other people. Through these media, there can also be a sense of enlightenment for users; it inspires us to use media for good and not just as a tool for entertainment but also as a catalyst for change. To sum it all up, I like these media platforms because they help improve my lifestyle by providing convenience, entertainment, information, and communication. As a Digital Citizen, I will continue to explore the wonders of Media as it is a big part of our lives now.

These media have a significant impact on my lifestyle, aspirations, attitudes, and behaviors. I am actually happy that these media have helped me grow as an individual. Every day, I learn new things about the media. Due to these platforms, I get to discover new skills and talents. However, my lack of discipline is the one that makes these media affect me negatively. Sometimes, I tend to overuse these media, especially TikTok, and forget about reality, like eating at the right time, taking a shower, and doing the laundry. As a person who aspires to become a responsible Digital Citizen, I will do my best to be disciplined in using these media. By setting goals, I can focus on using media responsibly without disrupting my life in the real world, such as my health. In conclusion, these media actually affect me positively as they help me grow as a person; the problem I need to fix is my lack of discipline because it will eventually ruin my health if I continue to use these media without proper discipline.
