Principal's feedback to teacher is focused and targeted. Clear indication of where the officer is (in terms of areas to improve). However did the new P find out from previous P the arrangement to groom teacher to a KP.

Officer shld hv indicated interest for the HOD post through APEX too. Was he interviewed officially? The fact that he was not sent for interview with supt shld also indicated that he wasn't being considered.

Mr Lee has been the NE coordinator for three years. Perhaps it is better if there's some kind of timeline worked out together with him to assess his suitability as KP. For example, the RO can let him know that in another year's time, she would discuss with him further on this matter.

Perhaps misunderstandings could have been avoided if management had been clearer about expectations, more open in communication and been aware that there is a human element to all of this.

The RO could have explained to the officer why he was not selected for the promotion. Need to manage his motivation as he has been covering for 3 years
