Online database for recorders, varying in experience level.
Pros-
1) Anyone can do it.
2)Submissions get checked, to validate.
3) It isnt bias towards a species/group.
4) Engagement through conferences has been made.
5) Updates, and development on producing a mobile app to make it even easier and more accurate.
6) Includes location to make WHERE accurate.
7) Affiliated with organisations like Cornwall Wildlife Trust, SINNG
8)Provides information via training, downloads.
9)Data can be used as proof of species, or dispersal. Can be given access to universities/local groups.

Cons-
1) App will require smart phone- only android at the moment .
2) App requires online/mobile access- IT-illiterate people will struggle.
3)Can question accurate recordings due to being specific to Cornwall and Scilly. Disputes vagrants and more geographical distributed species.
4) Requires validation, increasing manpower needed.
5) If species/group lack experts for validation, it could cause problems.

- People put in a lot of effort over 1500 trees were tagged, however many of the trees tagged were not included due to resources and time not being available for them to visit every tree tagged.
This has been resolved by prioritising trees growing in woodlands with other ash trees.
- Some volunteers did not hear back about their tree(s) other than a note provided on their website, which may dishearten them, impacting their future into other projects.
However this saves resources, by putting time and money into the cause.
It has been a successful project into identifying resistant trees, allowing next stages i.e. propagation of new stock to occur.
