The words were innocent, yet given the context in which they were said, it gave me chills. Helmer was treating her as a child, which is extremely weird considering the fact that they are married and even have children. This OST does a good job at conveying my feelings between Homer and Nora's relationship. The ominous feeling I get while listening to this soundtrack, is similar to the way I felt when I first read the scene.

Rocin' Around The Christmas Tree has always made me smile and this scene also makes me smile.

She didn't want Torvald to expose her actions to the people around them. If he were to reveal them, it would not only destroy her life, but it would destroy his and her family's lives as well. She doesn't want her husband to find out that she had disobeyed him by borrowing money when she shouldn't have. To match the desperation that Nora was feeling, I chose another OST from Death Note. The fast-paced guitar in the beginning makes me think of Nora panicking while asking Torvald to not say anything, she was nervous and scared. The rest of the soundtrack makes me think of how her mind could have sounded like, with so many thoughts running through her head.

In this song Lady Gaga says that she is "not your plastic doll" and that is much like what Nora said to Torvald when she had left. Nora told her husband that she was tired of being treated as a playdoll and not her own person by him and her father previously. Her being fed up led to her leaving Torvald in order to find herself. Being their "playdoll" for so long, Nora feels as if she does not know who she is or what she wants since that has always been chosen for her. She set off on her own journey in order to take back her own life and her own identity. This song also contributes to the theme of control and the lack of freedom in womens lives at the time.

Taylor Swift sings "You have pointed out my flaws again" and this portrays what is happening in this scene well. In this scene, Nora is dancing and Torvald is pointing out what she is doing wrong and trying to fix what she is doing to suit his tastes. The rest of the song reminded me on Nora and Torvald as well in the aspect of the way that he talks to her. Torvald is never outright mean to Nora, but he his underlying meaning and intentions are to control her.

She wanted to eet up with Krogstad to apologize to him for the way she had left many years later. This song also contributes to the theme in "A Doll's House" of misunderstanding and miscommunication between two lovers. Although Mrs Linde and Krogstad had made up and planned on moving forward with their lives, they still had a misunderstanding between the two for many years. But unlike them, Nora and Torvald did not make up.

This song is about commemorating a dead friend, and Dr Rank and everyone around him knows that he will eventually die. I think this song is fitting because Dr Rank is a very close friend to Nora and Torvald and that they would say something like "see you in the next life" or in the afterlife.
