My cat, my friends, my students and my colleagues are in all sorts of predicaments ranging from their health conditions to their work. Never have I noticed that my life has been difficult for a while. Looking on the bright side, I've  survived another school term.

But then, when I read the topic this month, I asked myself if it means that I haven't smiled for a long time. I doubt it. I did! I grinned when someone sincerely appreciated what I did. I was pleased when I had helped my friends overcome their difficulties. I felt grateful when someone willingly lent me a hand without me asking for it. I was gracious when I was genuienly being understood. I smiled back when some people beamed at me. 

Granted, life is not always easy or maybe we find our city gloomy but it doesn't mean that we need to be a pessimist or a schmuck.    But on second thought, I think that happiness is actually simple. As long as we remain optimistic in the midst of adversity, do our best to do our part and pay careful attention to the good things in life.In fact, no matter how difficult or frustrating it is.As long as we are hopeful about life, we will naturally not be beaten down by these so-called difficulties.

During the holiday, we have more time to do things we are interested in to relax ourselves. I have done a lot of interesting things, such as making dumplings in the shape of flowers, buying flowers at the flower market and then learning flower arrangement, writing calligraphy couplets, mixing and selecting fragrances to make crystal fragrances, matching different shapes for ourselves every day during the Spring Festival, going to the lantern festival with a very festive atmosphere, and going to the temple to pray, Looking at the fireworks set off by others on the windowsill at home, I have to say that my vision is very good.
These little things in life have brought me a lot of happiness. Just today, I saw a brother and sister whom I had met several times years ago. My sister is still so gentle, we went to drink tea, buy books together, and had a pleasant day. When I got home, I was pleasantly surprised to find that two lilies had opened, and the third lily had already opened its petals. A strong aroma filled the air. The whole home is very cozy.
